6 Days Rakaposhi Base Camp Trek Nagar Valley & Hunza – 6 Days. Let’s pack up for some adventure trek. We (Explore Nagar Tours & Travels) planned to conduct an amazing trek to Rakaposhi base camp, Diran base camp / Kacheli Lake trek. This trek route is located in the region of Minapin Village in the Nagar Valley of Northern Areas Gilgit-Baltistan. The trek is very close to the Karakoram highway. It has been considered very accessible and is compatible with all ages and people. You will find all on one while trekking toward Rakaposhi basecamp and diran base camp. You will be going through dense forests, meadows, pastures, peaks, grounds, camping sites and on top of that a one-view window of diran and Rakaposhi peaks with the long paved minapin glacier.

6 Days Rakaposhi Base Camp Trek Nagar Valley & Hunza
This is one of the shortest and easiest treks leading to above 7000M Karakoram peaks base camps with a sweeping view from Rakaposhi to Diran. The Minapin Glacier spread down from the 16km long dense snowy ridge that connects the Rakaposhi and Diran. The excellent short and easy trek from Minapin to Rakaposhi Base Camp, also known Tagaphari is the ideal introduction to Karakorum trekking that is an easy and soft adventure in the Karakorum Mountains.
It takes two to three hours from Minapin Village to Hapakun, a very pleasant and clean camp-site. The local community of porters is hospitable, tourist-friendly, and very hardworking. Usually, we start trekking in the morning to avoid the heat of the sun. From Hapakun to Taghaphari (Rakaposhi Base Camp) it takes around 3 to 4 hours approximately. Night cramps can be deployed either at hapakun or Rakaposhi base camp. It entirely depends upon the schedule and the will of the planner. As both places are dear and clean to stay in a favorable environment.
While heading to Diran Base Camp one has to cross the kacheli / Minapin Glacier that takes around 3 hours to cross. We can camp there at kacheli or diran base camp. But it again depends on the planner and what trekkers are willing to go and back in one day in 7 to 8 hours.

Day 0: Lahore
Departure From Lahore at 10 PM.
Travel T0 Rawalpindi
Day 01: Rawalpindi
There would be an introduction session in Rawalpindi Stopover about the Rakaposhi base camp trek.
Start Journey towards Naran.
Day 02: Naran – Nagar
Drive to Nagar(10-12 hrs) via KKH and reach Nagar around 2-3 hours.
A Day tour in major places of Nagar. Particularly Recently revealed highest pissan cricket stadium.
Overnight Stay
Day 03: Hapakun
Hapakun to Tagaphari 3300M (2-3 hours, 3km, 450m ascent) – a steep route/trail continues from Hapakun to Rakaposhi Base Camp, also known as Tagaphari. The trail eases off and contours the rocky slope for 30 minutes to a verdant bowl. You can have the view of Diran Peak, Rakaposhi, and their interconnecting ice wall and finally come into full view. After reaching Tagaphari can climb the ridge to have a nice view of Hunza Valley and mountains. Rakaposhi base camp trek is one of the best adventures in Pakistan. Overnight in the tent.
Start trek towards basecamp Rakaposhi by crossing base camp diran and minapin glacier. It takes around 4-5 hours to reach hapakun.
After a short stay, start trek to minapin village and then transfer to hotel in Nagar/Hunza.
Day 4: Karimabad, Hunza Valley
A Day free for the local visits, Altit Fort, Baltit Fort.
At noon start travel from Hunza to juglot for night stay.
Day 5: Juglot
Drive to juglot via Karakorum Highway. Overnight at hotel
Day 6: Rawalpindi/Islamabad
Early Morning Drive to Islamabad/Rawalpindi. Drop members and then travel to Lahore.
Reach Lahore at 2 am +-2hours.
